A taste for homegrown gourmet coffee in Guatemala

Guatemala is among the ten biggest coffee producers globally. Up until recently, nearly all its coffee was exported to other countries, mainly to North America and Europe.

But now, more and more coffee stays in Guatemala, as people there have started to enjoy their own world-renowned brew. That's good news for local coffee producers since they depend less on fluctuating international markets.
