Amnet breaks the Internet barrier in Costa Rica
Wednesday, July 14, 2010
Competition in telecommunications took a major step forward in Costa Rica. Amnet became the first company to have absolute control of the Internet service for its customers.
The signature of the interconnection contract with the Costa Rican Electricity Institute and the launch of its own data-transmission equipment will help Amnet to improve its services.
Previously, Amnet could offer clients a service that depended on the availability of traffic allowed by the institute.
