As Trump prepares for power, Costa Rica may be a loser... or a winner

 

Costa Rica’s exports will probably benefit for a lower value of the nation’s currency, the colon, under a US administration headed by Donald Trump.

On the other hand, Trump’s policies -- to judge by the views he expressed during his presidential campaign and later -- could lead to a sharp reduction in foreign investment in Costa Rica and throughout the region.
