Asian companies are big winners in historic Mexican oil auction

 

Companies from Asia presented the most attractive offers in Mexico’s historic first-ever auction of blocks in deep waters of the Mexican Gulf.

The area up for sale has reserves equivalent of a sixth of Mexico’s production when the industry was nationalized in1938.
