Bimbo takes a bite out of China's bread market with Mankattan

Grupo Bimbo has reached an agreement to acquire Grupo Mankattan, a baker that operates in China.

Details of the operation, which is subject to regulatory approval, were not revealed. Mankattan produces and distributes a wide range of bread, rolls and cakes, using regular retail and fast-food retail channels.
