Black Friday to boost Panama hotel occupancy

Panama's hotel association, Apatel, is forecasting occupancy of more than 70 percent in the country's hotels for Black Friday, which will be on November 28.

The demand will be driven by visitors from Central America and the Caribbean seeking Black Friday sales in Panamanian stores.

Black Friday also coincides with the start of Panama's high season, meaning hotels have an opportunity to boost their occupancy, said Apatel president Jorge Loaiza.
