Business is back on track in Costa Rica after slow year

The downturn in the Costa Rican economy that some sectors were reporting last year, appears to have been reversed in December, according to the official figures for the index of economic activity-

The growth in production showed a 3.5 percent year-on-year increase in December, and the trend is likely to be sustained during this year's first quarter.
