Business leaders continue to lose confidence in Panama

Business leaders have yet to recover confidence in Panama’s economy. The evidence is revealed by figures for the last quarter of this year.

Normally, the final quarter of a year is when hiring is at its peak. But figures provided by Manpower show that this year, hiring is set to fall by 9 percent this time round. Confidence in the business community has been hit by scandals such as the Panama Papers and the Waked case.
