Business leaders mount rescue for Northern Triangle nations

 

Business leaders of the nation’s of Central America’s Northern Triangle — Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador — have responded positively by the US vice-president’s plea to “rescue their countries”.

The Alliance for Prosperity has been given $2.6 billion in support from the governments in the two years since it was founded, while the United States has contributed $1.15 billion.
