Central America sees double-digit growth in lending

Central America has seen double-digit growth in the bank lending in the region over the last two years, according to a study by Fitch Ratings.
Panama leads the table with growth of 27 percent, followed by Nicaragua and Guatemala, both with almost 25 percent.
El Salvador is falling behind however, showing growth of only 5 percent in credits from September 2011 to the same month this year.
