Central American exports begin year with a bang

Central America exported $4.7 billion during the first two months of the year, a 6 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
The main destinations of the exports were the United States with $1.5 billion, Central America with $1.1 billion, Europe with $790 million and Mexico with $172 million.
Coffee, tea, industrial machines, fruits and sugar were among the most exported products.
