Central American meat producers share up the quota reserved for the European Union

Central American meat producers have shared up the 9,500 metric tons duty-free quota under the new association agreement with Europe.
Last month, the Central American Beef Producers Association met in Guatemala to place the 1,583 metric tons to be placed by each country.
The federation made ensure that El Salvador will be given its share, even though it has no organization of beef producers.
