Colombia announces $1 billion investment

With more than 1,000 business meetings held at the recent Colombia Investment Summit 2019, the national Investment promotion agency ProColombia announced more than $1 billion in new foreign direct investment.

US conglomerate Glenfarne Group is investing $420 million in a power generation project in the Colombian Caribbean while two other investors in the renewable energy sector made announcements worth $100 million, Finance Colombia reports.
