Colombia lures more foreign investment
Tuesday, June 17, 2014
Foreign direct investment to Colombia reached $16.7 billion last year.
The figure represents an 8 percent increase compared with the same period last year.
Among the factors that make the country attractive for investment are its clear regulations, a healthy macroeconomic environment with stable inflation and fiscal deficit, said Santiago Rojas Arroyo, Colombia's Minister for Trade, Industry and Tourism.
