Colombia records 18 percent growth in coffee output

Colombia produced 1.03 million 60-kg bags of washed arabica coffee in February, an 18 percent increase from a year ago, the private National Coffee Growers' Federation said, as widespread tree renewal continues to boost yields.

Exports rose 8 percent in February from the same month a year ago to 1.07 million bags, the federation said.
