Colombia sets terms for renewables

Colombia’s First Renewable Energy Auction has been set for October 22. The government has published the contract of the power purchase agreement and its terms of reference.

Since February’s auction failure was blamed on insufficient demand-side participation, there will not be competitiveness criteria requirements on the buy-side for the auction to take place, Finance Colombia reports.
