Consensus over need to boost Panama free zone

The government and users of Panama’s Colón Free Zone are close to reaching a consensus over changes to boost business in the zone.

Yesterday, the Association of Users received a proposal from the government that included reductions in certain fees and taxes. The changes are being contemplated to offset falling sales.
