Costa Rica inaugurates biggest hydro plant in Central America

After six years of construction, Costa Rica fully opened Reventazón, the biggest hydroelectric project in Central America. The investment was $1.4 billion.
Reventazón was built by the state power utility, the ICE. “We’re proud to have served our country, with efficiency, efficiency, in the planning, design and construction of Revantazón,” said Carlos Obregón, executive president of ICE.
