Costa Rica is healthy

Costa Rica has the healthiest population in Latin America, according to Bloomberg.
Worldwide, Costa Rica ranks 24th, followed by Cuba and Chile, the only Latin American countries in the Top 30.
Guatemala, in 83rd place globally, is the least healthy Central American country.
Singapore is the world’s healthiest nation, while Swaziland is last.
The ranking measures factors such as cholesterol, blood pressure, smoking, obesity, and risk for diseases in 145 countries (numbers in brackets indicate overall position).
