Costa Rica needs new law on jobs in state sector

Unless there is a new law on public-sector employment in Costa Rica, the efforts of Finance minister Rpcío Aguilar to contain government spending will not be sufficient.
Meanwhile, business leaders maintain that the next step is to restrict salaries and perks in the public sector, but that issue can only be resolved by legislators.
