Costa Rica ratifies domestic workers' accord

Costa Rican President Laura Chinchilla signed an International Labor Organization agreement for improving work conditions for domestic workers.

The agreement was also signed by the country's Labor MInister Olman Segura.

There are some 135,500 domestic workers in Costa Rica, but only 25,000 have social security, according to official data.
