Costa Rica’s Clínica Bíblica is now rated as the fifth hospital in Latin America because of its high standards in efficiency.
The indicators that were used in the ranking, by América Economía magazine, were reduction of risks, human capital, medical knowledge, and variables in medical efficiency and management mechanisms.
Public and private hospitals from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela took part in the survey voluntarily.
