Costa Rica sees arrival of more Mexican firms

More Mexican companies could begin operating in Costa Rica after the Central American country's President ended a business tour with the Costa Rica-Mexican trade and industry chamber, Cinde.

Solís met with some 30 potential investors from companies in manufacturing, food and corporate services, Costa Rican daily La República reported.

Mexico is currently Costa Rica's third-largest source of foreign investment, and Mexican companies in the Central American nation have invested ·1.6 billion and generate 20,000 jobs.
