Costa Rica sees boom in trade with China

Costa Rican companies could see major benefits with imports from China, Costa Rican daily La República reported.

Chinese imports to the Central American nation have doubled since a free trade agreement was signed between both countries two years ago.

Cellular phones are the top product Costa Rica buys from China, followed by toys, computers, microchips, shoes and motorcycles.
