Costa Rica spend more on its schools but the results get poorer

 

No doubt, Costa Rica’s increased spending on its state education system will pay off in the long term. But not for the moment.

The most recent PISA exam results show that the ranking of Costa Rican students has fallen over the last three years. Nowadays, Chile is the top of the class in Latin America.
