Costa Rica sues Nicaragua over land dispute

Costa Rica filed a complaint to the International Court of Justice over an alleged military incursion by Nicaragua in 2016. It is the latest in a series of legal disputes regarding the border between the two countries.

Nicaragua has installed a military post in a small strip of Costa Rican territory, said Costa Rican Foreign Minister Manuel Gonzalez.
