Costa Rican gives green light for $700 million port project

A plan to build a $700 million port in Moín, Costa Rica, includes an international merchandise trans-shipment terminal.
The government has declared the project to be of public interest. The declaration gives a gree light for Amega, the comapny promoting the plan, to conduct financial and technical studies, as well as a basic design -- all within 12 months.
