Costa Ricans prefer cuts to more taxes

Some 45 percent of Costa Ricans would prefer to pay less taxes even if the government has to reduce its services. And only 21 percent are prepared to spend their own money to bolster the state.

The finding comes from the most recent Gallup Poll conducted in conjunction with the newspaper La República.
