Digicel revenues surge by 32 percent as subscriber numbers rise to 11.5 million

The Digicel mobile phone group, controlled by Denis O’Brien, reported a 32 per cent rise in revenues in the quarter ended December 31.

Revenues at Digicel Group, which covers 30 markets across the Caribbean, Central America and the Pacific, hit $580 million in the third quarter of its financial year. Digicel’s subscriber numbers rose 7 per cent year-on-year to 11.5 million in quarter three.
