Digicel will be third cellphone operator to have 4G network in Panama. But smartphones with Internet capability are few

In October, Digicel will become the third cellphone operator in Panama to offer 4G technology.

However, not enough models of smartphone are capable of making best use of 4G.

Operators have 4G systems, but few phones are capable of using them in Panama, said Mara Samaniego of Digicel Panamá.
