El Salvador invests $13 million in northern highways

The government has invested $13 million in the highway network in northern El Salvador's Chalatenango province, Public Works Minister Gerson Martinez said.

A highway connection was built between San Miguel las Mercedes and San Antonio los Ranchos, Martinez said. Another was constructed on the highway that runs through the cities of Potonico, Nueva Trinidad and Arcatao.
