El Salvador passes law on rights of working women

El Salvador passed a law Wednesday that changes the country’s Labor Code to protect women from violence and discrimination in the workplace.

Passed in the Legislative Assembly during a regular plenary meeting of the legislative committee on “Women and Gender Equality”, it recognizes and guarantees the rights of working women.
