El Salvador seeks trade with China

 

El Salvador this week made its first approach with China in order to strengthen bilateral trade ties.

The Central American country's officials promoted the nation's exports such as coffee and sugar.

Last year, China became the fourth largest provider to the Salvadoran market in the world, after the U.S., Mexico and Guatemala.
