European Investment Bank negotiates new package of loans for Central America

The European Investment Bank is negotiating several loans to the region with the aim to fight climate change and lean up the environment.
Magdalena Álvarez, the bank’s vice-president, is visiting Panama for talks on a loan for the contruction of the Metro to be built in Panama City.
Álvarez said that she is also negotiating a credit line with the Central American Bank for Economic Integration with the aim of financing small projects that will contribute to fight climate change.
