Generali sells its insurance interest in Colombia to Talanx

Italy's Generali Group has agreed to sell its Colombian insurance operations to the Talanx Group of Germany for approximately $35 million.

Regulatory approval of the deal is pending. Talanx owns the HDI brand in Latin America, and said that it expects the Generali sale to close before 2018.
