Guatemala could be supplied by fuel from new Albapetróleos El Salvador plant

Guatemalan authorities and fuel distributors see the recently opened Albapetróleos plant in El Salvador as an option for receiving low-cost fuel for Guatemala.

“The fuel could be supplied from El Salvador. It all depends on the terms on offer,” said Enrique Meléndez, manager of the Guatemalan association of gasoline suppliers.

The plant was inaugurated in the Salvadoran plant of Acajutla.
