Guatemala mulls $60 million train to Antigua
Tuesday, November 16, 2010
Rafael Espada, the Guatemalan vice-president, is working on a project to build a train between the capital and Antigua.
Espada explained that the project would likely cost some $50-60 million. He said he already has held talks on the plan with potential investors.
The project would have to be a private venture, given that Guatemala lacks the investment funds that would be needed.
