Honduran banana sales drop 5.4 percent

Honduras's banana exports dropped 5.4 percent in the first half of the year, compared with the same period in 2013.

The figure represents 18.1 million boxes of bananas exported from January to July.

The main markets for Honduran bananas are the U.S., Europe and Central America.
