Honduras remains world's fifth largest coffee exporter

For a second straight year, Honduras has become the world's leading coffee exporter, reported the director of the association of exporters, Miguel Pon.

Pon said that the current harvest would be a little larger than that of 2016-17. Because of low world prices, however, the nation's income from coffee will be $163 million less.

Only Brazil, Vietnam, Colombia and Indonesia export more coffee than Honduras.
