Indian brands are roaring ahead in Central America motorcycle market

Guatemala’s Masesa, which is the leading importer and seller of the Central American market for motorcycles, and India-based TVS Motor Company, one of the world’s leading motorcycle maker, completed a year of what they describe as a very successful alliance.

Sales for this year are expected to be about 500,000 bikes and that figure is expected to be doubled through out Central America next year.

Masesa attributes the growth in sales to poor public transport and attractive financial facilities for clients.
