The Inter-American Development Bank approved $1.06 billion in credits for Costa Rica from this year through 2014.\

The bank approved the Costa Rican government’s strategy, which is linked to a fiscal reform.\
\
If legislators reject the fiscal reform, the amount of the credits will be reduced to $700 million.\
