Makro plans strong expansion throughout Colombia

Colombian supermarket company Makro is planning a strong growth campaign for the next six years.

The company announced it will invest some $900 million in 45 new stores.

The first step in the expansion is to consolidate its presence in the capital, as well as Medellín and Bucaramanga, after which it will focus on cities where it still has no stores, including Barranquilla and Cartagena.
