Mexican inflation rate returns to the 1970s

Mexico consumer prices rose less than analysts expected in September as the annual inflation rate fell to a four-decade low.

Mexico’s inflation rate has fallen to almost unprecedented levels on weak growth, lower costs for phone services and smaller gasoline-price increases.
