Millicom names McFarland as Tigo's man in Guatemala

Millicom, owner of the Tigo telecom brand, announced the appointment of retired US ambassador Stephen McFarland as its new special Representative in Guatemala.

McFarland has 37 years of experience as a US Foreign Service Officer. He was the US Ambassador to Guatemala between 2008 and 2011.
