Mining law reform proposed in Panama

A group of 18 Panamanian organizations agreed to propose a reform to the country's mining law.

The aim is to guarantee the development of mining in an efficient and safe way.

According to specialists, mining could become one of Panama's main sectors after projects such as the Canal expansion and metro transport system are compete.
