New pass system sparks crisis in regional cross-border trade

The new Central American customs declaration, known as DUCA, got off to a very bad start this week with long delays as truckers tried to cross borders.

Motty Rodas, head of the Guatemalan airlines association, said that the negative impact of the new system created an "incredible" negative impact on trade, Prensa Libre reports in Spanish.
