Nicaragua and Honduras in tourism program

Nicaragua and Honduras are the two Central American countries included in the Sustainable Destinations Alliance for the Americas, a public-private partnership designed to “focus on destination sustainability” in the Americas.
Each country will receive a Sustainable Destination Toolkit, designed to help each region “enrich the lives of the people and protect the region for many generations to come,” according to a statement.
The initiative is led by the Organization of American States and Royal Caribbean Cruises.
