Nicaragua boosts beef exports by 16 percent

Nicaraguan beef exports through May increased by 16 percent on the same period of last year, the Cetrex export agency reported.

Earnings came to $183 million up from $158 million a year earlier.

The main markets, in order of importance, are Venezuela, the United States, El Salvador, Puerto Rico and Taiwán.
