Nicaragua keeps pace with $552 million in seven months of textile exports

Nicaragua’s textile and garment exports reached $552 million in the first seven months of the year, a 14.2 percent increase in the same period a year later.

Nicaragua is second only to El Salvador for growth in textile exports from Central America to the United States.

El Salvador’s textile and garment exports to the United States have grown by 21 percent year-on-year in 2010.
