Nicaragua needs boost in agriculture output

Nicaragua's economy depends largely on agriculture, but the country is among the lowest producers in the region of staples such as corn, beans, coffee and potato.
In terms of corn, Nicaragua is the lowest country in Central America in terms of output.
However, data from the country's agriculture authorities pointed out that corn was the crop most producers opted for.
